Ankr token rate skyrockets after company announces partnership with Microsoft

Following the announcement of a partnership between Microsoft and Web3 decentralized infrastructure provider Ankr, the Ankr (ANKR) token price rose by 51.5%. This is evidenced by data from Coindesk.

The price of the token rose from $0.033 to $0.05 in 25 minutes after the press release. Ankr and Microsoft intend to work on a project of a new blockchain node hosting service in the Microsoft Azure cloud service. Employees of the companies will work on global low latency blockchain connectivity for the developer or any Web3 project.

“Our partnership with Ankr will enable developers and organizations to gain reliable and secure access to blockchain data to solve real business problems,” said Rashmi Misra, general manager of AI and emerging technologies at Microsoft.

The Ankr project makes it possible to create applications, as well as use blockchain solutions for business.

In December, the CEO of Binance announced that the exchange had frozen about $3 million worth of assets gained by hackers from an attack on Ankr servers. The Ankr DeFi protocol was subject to a massive hack, during which the attacker was able to issue 20 trillion aBNBc tokens. The hacker then exchanged part of the funds for 5 million USDC using the Uniswap decentralized exchange, the Tornado Cash mixer, and various inter-network bridges.
